האלימות שמובילות מיליציות המתנחלים בגדה המערבית התגברה בחסות המתקפה הישראלית-אמריקאית באיראן. מאז ה-28 בפברואר, מיליציות מתנחלים חמושות, הפועלות בגיבוי הצבא, פולשות מדי יום ליישובים פלסטינים ותוקפות משפחות בתוך בתיהן באלות, אבנים, גז מדמיע וירי חי. אלימות המיליציות מתרחבת ועוברת מהתקפה על קהילות קטנות ומבודדות להתקפת כפרים ועיירות גדולות. מאז סוף פברואר, הרגו מתנחלים 5 פלסטינים. ארבע קהילות שלמות, שהיו ביתן של 33 משפחות פלסטיניות, נעקרו מאדמתן לאחר שחייהן הפכו לבלתי אפשריים בעקבות מסכת תקיפות חוזרות ונשנות. מיליציות אלה הן זרוע נוספת של משטר האפרטהייד הישראלי, הזוכות לגיבוי, חימוש וחסינות מוחלטת. האלימות הקטלנית והיומיומית שהן יוזמות היא כלי מרכזי במדיניות הישראלית לנישול וגירוש פלסטינים מאדמתם. הטיהור האתני בגדה המערבית מתרחש עכשיו. Settler violence in the West Bank has intensified under cover of the Israeli-American attack on Iran. Since 28 February, armed settler militias, operating with military backing, have been entering Palestinian communities daily and attacking families inside their homes with clubs, stones, tear gas and live fire. The militias’ violence is expanding, shifting from attacks on small, isolated communities to assaults on large villages and towns. Since late February, settlers have killed 5 Palestinians. Four entire communities, home to 33 Palestinian families, have been forced off their land after their lives were made impossible by a pattern of repeated attacks. These militias are another arm of Israel’s apartheid regime, enjoying full backing, arming and total impunity. The daily, lethal violence they initiate is a central tool in Israel’s policy of dispossessing and expelling Palestinians from their land. Ethnic cleansing in the West Bank is happening now. Video
