"An Eid without features.."
In Khan Younis, the Eid takbirs did not begin from the minarets, but from the sighs of mothers over graves. Mothers who replaced greeting their sons with weeping on tombstones, summoning voices and features stolen by war.. An Eid shrouded in absence, and mothers burdened by loss.
