Child Dies from Rare Skin Disease After Gaza Travel Delay

After a delay in his travel outside Gaza, the child “Jalal Al-Qatash” from Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza has passed away, due to a rare blistering disease and the lack of necessary medication for his treatment. Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), also known as “butterfly skin disease,” is a rare genetic disorder that causes extreme skin fragility, leading to painful blisters and wounds from even the slightest friction.
