It is not only them who are being targeted… it is the plans that keep expanding. An occupying power continues to build up its record of crimes, in ongoing attempts to kill the truth that exposes the brutality it adopts as a method of survival. There is no difference in time or place, nor between a female journalist—whose only strength is a vest that identifies her—and a male journalist whose sole aim is to fix his lens on documenting what is being targeted, from bridges to even graves. Its war machine no longer distinguishes between images of destruction. Wherever it finds camera lenses, it targets them. This is how it has dealt with 260 Palestinian journalists who were killed, as well as their colleagues in Lebanon.
