Asmaa Abu Jame’ from Gaza was severely injured when an Israeli strike hit her home causing severe facial disfigurement and the loss of one hand. She has undergone 24 surgeries and now lives with a prosthetic limb, one of thousands of Palestinians left with permanent injuries.
