Al Jazeera’s Gaza correspondent, Anas Al-Sharif, has been awarded Amnesty International’s 2024 Human Rights Defender Award. The accolade recognises his outstanding reporting on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and his vivid portrayal of civilian suffering amidst ongoing conflict.
