Dr. Hamdi Baroud was an esteemed professor of law and previous dean at Al-Azhar University. He was abducted from Khan-Younis by the IOF on January 27. Today his deceased body was found in an area where the Israeli army recently withdrew from, riddled with bullet wounds.
