يُعرّف بأنه التدمير المتعمد واسع النطاق للبيوت، وجعلها غير صالحة للسكن، بهدف منع عودة النازحين إليها.
وهذا ما تحدثت عنه صحيفة الغارديان إذ عرضت صور الأقمار الصناعية التي تظهر حجم الدمار الشامل الذي سببه الاحتلال بالمباني
