Gaza’s Agricultural Past: Citrus Production in the 1980s

In Gaza… the story wasn’t always one of tents and siege. Back in the 1980s, this land produced more than it needed. Over 100,000 tons of Shamouti citrus, another 100,000 tons of Valencia oranges, and tens of thousands of tons of lemons were harvested from groves full of life.
