Sanabel Al-Rai, wife of Palestinian prisoner Basel Al-Asmar from Qalqilya, gave birth to twins today following the success of a smuggled sperm insemination procedure from inside his prison. Al-Asmar has been detained since 2002 and is serving a life sentence.
